1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using VitalTrends, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The Service

VitalTrends is a personal health analytics dashboard that aggregates data from connected wearables and health platforms (such as WHOOP, Oura, Withings, and Apple Health) and presents it as long-term trends, charts, and exports for your personal use.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if you have an issue.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to access another user's data, (b) reverse-engineer or scrape the service, (c) use the service to violate any law, or (d) interfere with the operation of the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

6. Health Disclaimer

VitalTrends is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information shown is for informational and personal interest purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health. Do not rely on VitalTrends for medical emergencies.

7. Third-Party Services

VitalTrends connects to third-party services (WHOOP, Oura, Withings, Apple Health, Stripe, and others) on your behalf using their official APIs. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, data accuracy, or policy changes on their side.

8. Your Data

You retain ownership of the health data we sync on your behalf. We process it solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect any integration or delete your account at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

The VitalTrends name, branding, and software are owned by us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your personal, non-commercial use while your account is active.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; data deletion follows the process described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data shown will be complete or accurate.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VitalTrends and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
